National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) UTK Chapter

The mission of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), University of Tennessee at Knoxville Chapter is to inform students of the problems affecting African Americans and other racial and ethnic minorities, while advancing the status of the Knoxville community, and developing intelligent and proactive youth leadership. Some of NAACP’s signature events include Skate Night, NAACP Image Awards, and co-hosting the Annual Black Issues Conference.
