Reservations for events may be made for any day and time the Frieson Black Cultural Center is open, and during the current academic year only.
New reservations for the following academic year will typically be processed after June 15th.
The exception to this is: University Departments and Organizations (including Student Organizations) may not reserve space for standard weekly meetings until after November 15th for the spring semester and after April 15th for the summer and fall semesters. (This is done to allow time for the scheduling of special events.)
How to reserve
- Fill out the reservation request online. You will receive an email confirmation that the reservation request was received.
- Allow the staff 3 – 5 business days to process your request.
- Wait to receive confirmation that the space has been reserved.
- Call the Reservations Office if there are any changes – major or minor – to your submitted form and requested event details.
Once your reservation has been confirmed, you will receive a confirmation notice along with information regarding use of the facility and any charges that may be assessed to your organization. Please remember that University recognized organizations and departments have access to the facility and services. Reservations requests from students and student organizations are given priority. Departments and external community organizations may be subject to fees.
