UT Welcome Week: MSL Welcome Back Celebration

MSL Welcome Back Celebration

The Office of Multicultural Student Life hosts an annual Welcome Back Celebration! This Fall Open House is a great way to meet new people from diverse backgrounds, make new friends, and connect with important campus and community resources. First year and returning students will have the opportunity to learn about getting involved with our multicultural organizations, tour the Frieson Black Cultural Center, learn about our free Tutoring and Book Loan Programs, while enjoying live entertainment from student organizations, and special prizes from our community partners. The MSL Welcome Back Celebration is part of UT’s Welcome Week Festivities, and is a free event for all members of the university community. Be sure to come out and learn more about local restaurants, fraternities and sororities, student organizations, university departments, local religious centers, beauty and barber shops, and other community partners!

In addition to hosting information tables, organizations will also have the opportunity to showcase their talents. Performing groups such as dance teams, model troupes, fraternities and sororities, choirs, musical organizations, cultural organizations, or other individuals, can register for a 5-minute time slot to showcase their organization throughout the Welcome Back Celebration.
