Joshua Lane

Graduate Research Assistant

Joshua received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and a minor in Sociology from Georgia Southern University in Savannah, GA and is a current Masters candidate in the College Student Personnel program at The University of Tennessee.

Being a low-income, first-generation, adopted, Latino graduate has motivated him to push and break barriers in a world that systemically is put against people that hold these identities and more. He is eager to jump into the Higher Education/Student Affairs field in hopes to grow future underrepresented leaders through networking and mentoring.

He is a PROUD brother of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. and also volunteers with different organizations in the community that advocate for immigrants’ rights and equitable access to resources.

In his perfect world, he would be sitting on a beach eating tacos de asada y carnitas while sippin’ on horchata, listening to… you guessed it… Bad Bunny!
