UT Welcome Week: MSL Welcome Back Celebration

MSL Welcome Back Celebration

The MSL Welcome Back Celebration provides an opportunity for first-year and returning students to participate in the Fall Open House for the Office of Multicultural Student Life. This open house features a student organization fair where students can learn about getting involved with our multicultural student organizations; take a tour of the Black Cultural Center, which also provides information on our Tutorial and Book Loan Programs; enjoy live entertainment by students; and get special prizes from our community partners. Held annually, the MSL Welcome Back Celebration is a part of UT Welcome Week festivities and is a free event for all members of the university community. The celebration is a great way to meet new people from diverse backgrounds, make new friends, and connect with important campus resources. Be sure to come out to sample foods from local restaurants, enjoy performances from fraternities and sororities, and learn more about student organizations, university departments, local religious centers, beauty and barber shops, and community

The Welcome Back Celebration will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., at the Frieson Black Cultural Center. We invite your organization to set up an information table. At your table, you’ll have the chance to share information about your organization or business. Assignments will be made on a first-come basis. Set-up will begin at 4:00 p.m., and your organization or business’ table must be staffed throughout the event.
