Ronni Williams

Coordinator for Academic Services


Ronni is a native of Lenoir City, TN. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and graduated with a Master’s degree in Education with a concentration in Higher Education Student Affairs from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC. Ronni spent several years working for a non-profit organization before pursuing her M.Ed and a career in higher education. It was in her first position out of college that she realized she had a passion for not only helping people, but helping college students specifically.

She serves as the Coordinator of Academic Support in the Office of Multicultural Student Life (MSL). This role allows her to translate her passion for helping students succeed, matriculate to graduation, and have equal access in higher education. She is excited to be serving the area that she grew up in and to be a part of the Volunteer family!

In her spare time, Ronni enjoys learning new information about sharks, spending time with family and friends, hiking, and being a self-proclaimed “foodie”!   She prescribes to the quote: “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’ ” –Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
